PRINTMAKING

Monsoon began printmaking as a young artist in upper school and uses processes such as etching and linocut printing to translate her primary illustrations to support each project. Throughout her Master's at Central Saint Martins, Monsoon continued her enquiry into printmaking and experimented by burning etching plates as well as attempting large scale screen printing.

Throughout lockdown 2020 Monsoon joined the Artist's Support Pledge to cover costs of lost commissions and exhibitions as well as raising a percentage for IIHUK charity, she joined virtual printmaker fairs which led to hyper focusing on enhancing her printmaking skills.

Monsoon frequently exhibits her printmaking and is currently revamping digital artwork from her sketchbooks she started over 10 years ago to celebrate the beginning of her unique style of drawing.

LINO PRINT

Linocut prints made from project Microbial Me throughout lockdown 2020, raising money for IIHUK as well as supporting artistic practice. Monsoon regularly exhibits and sells her printmaking to raise money for charities.
